Research
ASH is an evidence based organisation. Research underpins all of our work. It involves gathering, organising and formulating high quality information to drive positive social change in our communities.
The ASH Year 10 Snapshot Survey
Our flagship research project is the ASH Year 10 Snapshot Survey, New Zealand’s largest survey of 14-15 year olds. We have been running this for over 20 years, and have one of the most comprehensive dataset on youth smoking in the world. it is used extensively by policymakers, academics and government.
